Well, that’s a wrap! LAST BUT NOT LEAST is the final episode of our 2013 WHEN IN WHISTLER series presented by Boardworld. It’s been a great end to the season.
In this fourth and final episode, we join Geoff Brown and 3CS Comrade Gordon Emery in the backcountry once again. We hit urban locations with Geoff, 3CS Comrade Mat Galina, FYVE team rider Marc Triffitt, and welcomed Braden Dean and Spencer Kaleb to the crew.
To top it off we have the FYVE trio of Ryan Manning, Greg Murray and Marc Triffitt join David Kinskofer and Canadian jump slayer Charles Reid in the Whistler Blackcomb Terrain Parks for some of the best times we’ve ever had shooting sunny spring shred.

March in Whistler is typically nothing short of pow, pow, pow and more pow, but this winter wasn’t so typical. The crew chased after it hard this month, hitting a number of jump spots, urban locations and lapped the always enjoyable Whistler Blackcomb blue and grey park lines.

FYVE – EP SIX – 7 DAYS IN NISEKO, JAPAN
FYVE Snowboards & Skate‘s crew was in Japan, Niseko to be precise.
The boys were doing their thing and running the FYVE JAPAN CAMP 2013.
During this time the boys got up each morning, went boarding with the 60 plus campers, then shovelled and built a stack of urban spots. We session’d these spots day and night while also hanging out with the campers, enjoying the Japanese way and having a good old time.
A super busy and super awesome week with these hardworking boys.

Ryan Tiene – Stoked your back on your board mate!
After a bit of a fall off a cliff and a month or so playing World Of Warcraft and doing jig-saw puzzles.
This Aussie DC Pro is back on his board and out sending it in the backcountry once again. Olliepop Films spent the afternoon out in the Whistler backcountry with Ryan and DC photog Colin Adair along with good pal and Ashbury shred Matt Sedunary. Couple pics for ya.

FYVE _ A WEEK IN JAPAN @ NISEKO
It’s been an awesome week with the Fyve Snowboards crew and the Niseko FYVE JAPAN Campers.
What a bunch of crazy-ass Aussie snow shreds these boys are.
Japan Trip DAY ONE – Niseko! Yotei Zan! Fyve Crew! Campers! Pow and sunsets!
What an awesome day one of snowboarding in Japan. After getting in late last night via a bunch of planes and bused and having homeboy Kirby drop the Camerakid to the airport, today was truely an epic first day in Japan.
First stop Rhythm Boardstore Niseko to pick up a pow shred stick for the week. This shop is sweet and along with Grover and the rest of the crew it’s the place to get all your ski and snowboarding needs.
Then caught up with the Fyve Campers for some pow shred laps around the hill. It is true. Japan pow is epic! WOW! stoked! After some lunch we headed into the town to hit some street spots and scored some good karma with a local photog explaining to the security that we were good kids and would clean up afterwards.
Then sunset. Mount Yotei in all it’s glory was pink and breathtaking.
Off to dinner. We have an idea the food will be delicious and with good company sounds like a perfect end to a first day in Japan.
DAY TWO look forward to pics and grams to see what we get up to with the crew.

STYLEWARS 2012 @ Falls Creek _ It was epic!
Stylewars 2012 was nothing short of epic. Olliepop Films spent the week filming with the raddest crew of filmers shooting some of the world’s best snowboarders on the epic Stylewars course at Falls Creek AUS.
Big props to the park crew, the builders Dougy and Reuben (Who’s birthday was on day one of the event) Along with AUS/NZ Snowboarding mag’s photo-g for constantly bangin out epic pics.
The 28-Stairs was taken out for the 2nd year in a row by Jye Kearney (AUS) only narrowly beating Max Parrot (CAN)

The ‘Carlton Dry’ Mile High @ Thredbo – FULL WRAP-UP!
The extended edit with nterviews, lifestyle bangers and all. The epic first day of the Mile High presented by Carlton Dry was the one of the single best day of slopestyle competition in Australian to date.
Thredbo’s premiere park crew and builders built the longest slopestyle course that snowboarding has seen down under!
Tor Lundstrom came away with the win along side Silvia Mittermüller.
The Mile High By Carlton Dry has had a great entry year on the World Professional Snowboarding Tour and is looking forward to a great competition future with the World Snowboard Tour.
Olliepop Films was stoked to work with the Mile High media crew on this edit.
