FYVE – EP SIX – 7 DAYS IN NISEKO, JAPAN
FYVE Snowboards & Skate‘s crew was in Japan, Niseko to be precise.
The boys were doing their thing and running the FYVE JAPAN CAMP 2013.
During this time the boys got up each morning, went boarding with the 60 plus campers, then shovelled and built a stack of urban spots. We session’d these spots day and night while also hanging out with the campers, enjoying the Japanese way and having a good old time.
A super busy and super awesome week with these hardworking boys.

February was nothing short of fantastic! We scored sunshine, heaps of snow, and it was bloody good times with the crew.

It’s been an awesome week with the Fyve Snowboards crew and the Niseko FYVE JAPAN Campers.
What a bunch of crazy-ass Aussie snow shreds these boys are.
Japan Trip DAY ONE – Niseko! Yotei Zan! Fyve Crew! Campers! Pow and sunsets!
What an awesome day one of snowboarding in Japan. After getting in late last night via a bunch of planes and bused and having homeboy Kirby drop the Camerakid to the airport, today was truely an epic first day in Japan.
First stop Rhythm Boardstore Niseko to pick up a pow shred stick for the week. This shop is sweet and along with Grover and the rest of the crew it’s the place to get all your ski and snowboarding needs.
Then caught up with the Fyve Campers for some pow shred laps around the hill. It is true. Japan pow is epic! WOW! stoked! After some lunch we headed into the town to hit some street spots and scored some good karma with a local photog explaining to the security that we were good kids and would clean up afterwards.
Then sunset. Mount Yotei in all it’s glory was pink and breathtaking.
Off to dinner. We have an idea the food will be delicious and with good company sounds like a perfect end to a first day in Japan.
