Boardworld presents two minutes of snowboarding madness to give you the best highlights from the 2012 Australian season.
Oi Mate! was shot on location around Australia, at its resort partner of Perisher, as well as Thredbo Resort, Falls Creek and Mt Baw Baw.

Boardworld and Olliepop Films present the final episode of ‘Oi Mate!’ – a new series from the land down under.

In EP 4 we get the last taste of Aussie pow with some exploring around the backcountry-side of Thredbo, we get a few early morning Pipe hits with Nate Johnstone before spending the day at Thredbo and back at Perisher with Matt Sedunary. Fyve skate shred Ben Currie hits up the Jindabyne Skate Park and a few more lads get in a jump session at the St Anton’s park Thredbo Resort. We wrap up the ep with the best of DAY TWO action in Falls Creek of the Carlton Dry presents STYLEWARS.

Snowboarding with this guy it’s nothing short of good times! Matt’s known for his trademark pokes and stylish shred. When you combine that with his crazy ass wit and super funny sense of humour it makes him one awesome lad to go snowboarding with.
This MAD MINUTE takes us back to the When In Whistler days of last Northern season. As the season in Australia winds down we start to get a little itch for a surf and a serious itch for some pow days in the backcountry.

This time the crew got real busy. Waking up before sunrise and shooting after the sun went down, all in the name of chasing pow, hitting handrails, sending perfect park jumps and having a bloody good time while doing it! We teamed up with the photographers from AUS & NZ Snowboarding Mag for exclusive photo shoots, some of which you can see in their latest issue, on shelves right now in all good news agencies AUS and NZ wide.

Boardworld and Olliepop Films present ‘Oi Mate!’ – a new series from the land down under.

Oi Mate! follows a group of snowboarders as they live and breathe the Australian snow season. This four-part series travels all over Australia in the search of the best snowboarding on offer.
During July we went all over the place. From a private shoot up at Thredbo Resort with DC Pro Ryan Tiene and Charles Beckinsale, to a night shoot and a river gap at Falls Creek, park laps at Perisher with Jye Kearney and some jibbing at Mt Baw Baw Alpine Resort with the Fyve & Forum boys.

The 2012 ‘FORUM’ Battle @ BAW BAW
Saturday the 28th of July 2012 saw the return of The Forum Battle at Baw Baw.
Even with the challenging conditions some of Australia’s best riders still threw down on an entirely new set up. For the second year in a row Chris DeCampo took out the event, with Tom Pelley in second and little known Canadian rider Sam taking third.
Chris de Campo wasn’t the only one to make it a back-to-back year with Shaun Ingham again taking out the Skullcandy Best Trick award with a cab 270 blunt, held through the flat down, with a 270 out.

The ‘Vacation’ premiere night Australia.
City Snow Park was the place to be on Thursday night for the Australian Premiere of ‘Vacation’ the new feature film from Forum, Special Blend and Foursquare.
The night started off with the Forum ‘Hour of Power’ where the likes of Mitch Williams, Michael Trotto and a stock of other keen Victorian riders threw down on City Snow Park’s indoor jib line.
Derek and the guys at City Snow Park had the features prepped to perfection, and with a bunch of up and comers putting it all on the line for Forum Prizes – the vibe was epic.
With a couple of people stoked on new tricks, the party moved outside to Harbour Town, Docklands mega screen, where ‘Vacation’ had the crowd pumped.
Pat Moore’s ender in particular blew people’s minds, with other noteworthy parts including Nic Suave, Cameron Pierce and Stevie Bell.
Thanks to the guys at City Snow Park for providing their awesome facility for the premiere.
