Well there’s been a whole lot of sunny days and not much snow falling. With a bunch of bluebird days, the Whistler parks have been in prime condition with some favourable filming weather.
Waiting for that next dump of powder, episode two we goes back to the parks. This time not only hitting up the Whistler Park but also Whistler Blackcomb’s highest level XL park, ‘THE BLACK PARK’ on Blackcomb Mountain.

WHEN IN WHISTLER _ EP0:1 WHISTLER PARK
Boardworld and 3CS Outerwear are proud to present a new series based in BC, Canada. ‘WHEN IN WHISTLER’ follows a group of snowboarders ripping it up in Whistler.
The first episode of the series goes straight to Whistler Park, which is built by Charles Beckinsale. Charles is accompanied by fellow Aussie Matt Sedunary and 3CS’s very own comrade Mat Galina.

AFENDS _ Sam Octigan paints @ Blunt
Something different hey. A couple of weekends ago while Olliepop was sitting about in Torquay, Afends clothing had mad-skills artist ‘Sam Octigan’ paint up a design while launching their product range in store.
Sam had shoppers pass by, stop, comment, say their bit and all in all get generally stoked on his handywork while he plugged away.
Start to finish just a little over five hours later LIKE! A solid effort and a pretty cool piece to hang up!

The ‘Vacation’ premiere night Australia.
City Snow Park was the place to be on Thursday night for the Australian Premiere of ‘Vacation’ the new feature film from Forum, Special Blend and Foursquare.
The night started off with the Forum ‘Hour of Power’ where the likes of Mitch Williams, Michael Trotto and a stock of other keen Victorian riders threw down on City Snow Park’s indoor jib line.
Derek and the guys at City Snow Park had the features prepped to perfection, and with a bunch of up and comers putting it all on the line for Forum Prizes – the vibe was epic.
With a couple of people stoked on new tricks, the party moved outside to Harbour Town, Docklands mega screen, where ‘Vacation’ had the crowd pumped.
Pat Moore’s ender in particular blew people’s minds, with other noteworthy parts including Nic Suave, Cameron Pierce and Stevie Bell.
Thanks to the guys at City Snow Park for providing their awesome facility for the premiere.

Master park builder of Thredbo Resort Terrain parks and Dragon team rider Charles Beckinsale takes us through the Gap to Backside Lipslide or more simply the gap to back lip while up at Mt Seymour.
Also guys check out the full day edit of Charles Beckinsale at Mt. Seymour if you’ve missed it. Charles smashed the Red Ledge to the kinked stairs and all through the park while having a super fun day in the sun.

AussieSnowboard.TV – Dew Hut Jam
The ‘Mtn Dew’ Battle Of Supremacy Hut Jam at Mt Buller went off this weekend. With perfect blue skies for practice on Friday, riders threw down a solid session.
With weather forecast to come in early on Saturday the comp organizers moved the event early to a 1pm start. The weather held out and the event went off! Jye Kearney winning the Gatorade Rookie award whislt throwing a double backflip.
The Burton duo of Jye and Chris De Campo took out top honours with Robbie Walker and Clint Allan of Billabong coming 2nd.
The K2 team of Andy Lloyd and Nick Wood won best team trick with a back rodeo and switch rodeo pairing of tricks.
Noteable meantions to Dan Currie of Team 3CS for flying into the bonk barrel and crashlanding into Sean ‘Radman’ Radich’s flash setup.
Also to Marc Triffitt of Team Fyve and Andrew Roth of Team Ride that held down solo all day as their teammates were injured in the practise session.
Big thanks to Mountain Dew, Gatorade, The Mt Buller Park and Events crew, Russell Holt, the Judges and all the riders for an awesome weekend of competition.

3CS TEAM EDIT # NUMERO TWO! for 2011
Team edit number 2! 2011 is going off for the 3CS crew! Filming all over the globe!. This time the Canadian duo of Tyy Clark and Mat Galina meet up with the Whistler crew for some spring park as well as the usual urban and backcountry shred.

AUSSIESNOWBOARD.TV – ROAD TRIP TO BAW BAW
The Aussie Snowboard Crew hit up a little hill called Mt. Baw Baw, Victoria, Australia.
With a bunch of riders heading there for the ‘Forum Battle @ Baw Baw’ the crew was keen to get there the night before and scope out the village to see what this place had to offer.
Thanks to Mt. Baw Baw it truely lived up to its slogan ‘Little Mountain Big Value’ with such a good vibe to the place.

Earlier this year the 3CS crew headed up to St. Antons in the Alberg of Austria to shoot the new 2011/12 Catalogue range.
