Cameron Hicks (along with Tyler Hicks, his bro) are one awesome duo. They hooked us up breaking trail for us, loaning a setup and taught us a whole bunch about the do-s and don’ts of sledding in the backcountry.
Anyways Cameron Hicks is one damn good sledneck. Here’s a few shots of him!

So the jump didn’t work out as big as we wanted. But here’s some happy snaps as Dan sent some stylish front 3 tails. The sunset was happenin’ (so I colour tweaked it a little more). Sus the run in hey, full high speed through trees.
Road trip always has a down day to do some interneting, catching up with friends and then getting set for a week long stint at the next spot, Nelson.
Run in through trees… mmmm sketchy.
And off we go to Nelson
So we were a tad hungover today. Been on the sober stretch for a week or so and it was high time that Dan and I sent it! anyways a down day from filming we snapped off a few pics.
Hey gang you can now also check out the WHEN IN WHISLTER series on TransworldSNOWboarding!

DAY ONE .. So we were supposed to go to Mt Seymour so Erik could compete in the Slopestyle competition.. instead they had over 60 cm of pow so we just lapped it up for a Saturday with minimal lift lines and tracks that were covered by fresh snow by the next lap through.
Vancouver… well sometimes a roadtrip needs a cheap hotel room and a night out. We headed in downtown to this spot called ‘Joe’s Apartment’ .. it was a good night.
Sunday.. the weather at Mt Seymour was much more favourable for a competition today. The course looked tight and there were plenty of shred dawgs throwin down. The weather cam in in the end but there was some sweet as hot chocolate provided by the people at Electric Visual Eyewear.
Well there’s been a whole lot of sunny days and not much snow falling. With a bunch of bluebird days, the Whistler parks have been in prime condition with some favourable filming weather.
Waiting for that next dump of powder, episode two we goes back to the parks. This time not only hitting up the Whistler Park but also Whistler Blackcomb’s highest level XL park, ‘THE BLACK PARK’ on Blackcomb Mountain.
